The question was: what to get for dinner. I fairly new to the area and am still learning where the good places are. If today's experience is any indication, I've found a really good one in Los Pollos.
It's a small place with only a few tables so I got my food to go. They have many desserts and Cuban favorites on display. My first choice, Arroz con Pollo, was sold out for the day. I asked the man at the counter for a suggestion. He recommended the Cuban Sandwich. After asking about a few more menu items, I went with the Cuban Sandwich. I was not disappointed. Plus, it is a large sandwich so you'd best be hungry. It was so good. I will be back again for my arroz con pollo.
I also got a mango strudel for dessert. It was a bit dry but the mango filling was delish.
I shall return. -

We hosted a Havana Nights party and ordered from their catering menu. A tray of Cuban sandwiches, a tray of mini empanadas, a tray of guava pastries & 2 dozen papas rellenas. It was a hit, not much was left. The sandwiches are soooo good, great smoke flavor on the pork, the empanadas were very flavorful we had chicken and beef, what's not to love about fried meat filled potatoes, but those guava pastries you are just going to have to try them yourself (drool).
So, why not a 5 star review? Customer service was lacking a little. The night we placed our order we also ordered food to go, we wanted to sample the items we selected. Got home and we had 3 Cuban sandwiches, nope not our order, I know someone was going to be upset. We ate one, 2 went to waste. I waited a 2 days, called to confirm our catering order since I noticed my credit card wasn't charged the 50% deposit. No return call. I called one more time to and spoke to the owner, he was busy didn't have time to speak, no problem. I drove down (from Allied Gardens). I wanted to make sure it was all good and get those samples I had paid for. Confirmed order, paid in full, explained the mix up from the other night, ordered my samples again, paid for those, again.
My brother picked up on Saturday the owner was helpful and released the order to him even though I forgot to give him the receipt and the rest was history. I'll go again, the food was excellent. -

Delicious. Consistent. Flavorful. Cheap. We are so coming back here in the future. Don't let the strip mall fool you! Everything is good here, from the pastries to the etnrees to the empanadas.

My first time going and I loved it !
I had the spiced chicken empanadas and some rice! The gentleman thru in a jalapeño potato ball of some sort .. it was delicious! I'll definitely go back to taste the rest of the menu !
